Spice up your holiday breakfast! This festive and decadent Eggnog French Toast will bring holiday cheer to your morning table. Made with Belfonte Eggnog, it’s a simple and delicious way to bring the family together after opening gifts.


1 loaf of thick sliced bread or Texas Toast
1½ cups Belfonte eggnog
5 eggs
1 tsp vanilla  extract
2 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
4 Tbsp butter
Maple syrup or powdered sugar (optional)


Heat cast iron skillet or griddle to medium-low. Add 1 Tbsp of butter and melt completely.
Whisk eggs, Belfonte eggnog, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg until combined in large bowl.
Soak the bread in the mixture, covering both sides.
Add bread to warmed griddle and toast until golden brown. Flip and repeat on the second side of the bread.
Toast bread on both sides, remove and set aside. Melt another Tbsp. of butter and repeat with another batch of bread until all the mixture/bread is complete.
Serve with powdered sugar, warm maple syrup and a dusting of nutmeg.
