Caramel Apple delight! Looking for a quick fall dessert to impress the whole family? Our Caramel Apple Crisp made with Belfonte Vitamin D Milk has you covered. It’s best served à la mode with Belfonte Premium Homestyle Vanilla Ice Cream.

Ingredients:

3 Apples, peeled and sliced thin. Use a combo of your favorite apples including Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, etc.
3 Tbs Belfonte Vitamin D Milk
1 Tbs lemon juice
3 Tbs butter, melted
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter at room temperature

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375*. In large bowl combine melted butter, Belfonte Vitamin D Milk, lemon juice, sugar, and spices until smooth. Add apple slices and coat with mixture. Pour into a greased 9×9″ pan and set aside. In separate bowl combine oats, sugar, flour, baking soda and spices. Add chunks of the room temperature butter and using hands (or kids hands) crumble the mixture until it resembles wet sand. Top the apples with the crumb mixture. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes or until browned. Serve warm with Belfonte Premium Homestyle Vanilla Ice Cream.
