5-6 cups cooked macaroni
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups Belfonte Vitamin D Milk
1 tsp yellow mustard, optional
2 cups shredded cheese of your choice (sharp cheddar, Fontina, gruyere, etc.)
In large pot, boil water and add some salt. Add pasta and cook until al dente, approximately 9-11 minutes. While noodles are cooking, make the sauce by heating a large saucepan on medium low. Add butter and melt. Whisk in flour until smooth and slowly pour in Belfonte Vitamin D Milk, continuously stirring until incorporated. Add mustard. Whisk over heat until mixture starts to thicken, then remove from heat. Add the shredded cheese of your choice and stir until melted. Fold in the cooked and drained macaroni until well incorporated. Top with pepper or paprika and serve immediately!
