French Onion Dip Cheeseburger Sliders
Ingredients
For the Ground Beef Slider Mixture:
- 1 ½ lbs. Lean Ground Beef
- ½ cup Belfonte French Onion Dip
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- ¼ cup Dried Minced Onions
- 1 tbsp. Dried Parsley
- 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp. Cracked Black Pepper
For the Grilled Onions:
- 1 medium White Onion
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- Salt and Cracked Black Pepper
For Slider Toppings:
- 6 slices White Cheddar Cheese
- 12 Slider Buns (see notes)
- ¾ cup Belfonte French Onion Dip
- Grilled Onions
- 2 Roma Tomatoes, sliced
- Green Leaf Lettuce
Directions
- Combine the lean ground beef, Belfonte French Onion Dip, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onions, dried parsley, kosher salt, and cracked black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the ground beef mixture into 12 equal portions (around 2.3 oz each). Form each portion into a flat patty that is slightly larger than the slider bun. Place the patties on a large platter, leaving a little space between each one, and set aside.
- Peel the onion and slice it into ½” rings, keeping the rings intact as much as possible. Brush the rings with olive oil on both sides, then sprinkle both sides with a pinch each of salt and cracked black pepper. Set aside.
- Cut each slice of cheese in half, then fold each half into a square to fit the surface of the slider patties. Set the cheese aside near the slider patties.
- Heat an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the onion rings for 4-5 minutes per side until softened and slightly charred. Transfer to a plate or bowl and set aside.
- Turn the heat down to medium. Place the slide patties on the grill, and grill for 3-4 minutes. Flip the patties over and cover each one with cheese. Close the grill and grill for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted and the sliders are cooked through. Transfer to a platter and tent with foil to keep warm.
- Spread one tablespoon of Belfonte French Onion Dip onto the bottom half of each slider bun, then top each bun with a grilled slider patty. Top the slider patties with grilled onions, sliced tomatoes, pieces of green leaf lettuce, and the top slider buns.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes:
- Lean Ground Beef is typically 90/10 or 93/7 beef to fat ratio ground beef. 85/15 will also work.
- White Cheddar Cheese can be replaced with American cheese, Pepper Jack cheese, Colby Jack cheese, or provolone cheese.
- Slider Buns vary in size, and we used 2 ½” slider buns for this recipe. Smaller slider buns will work, but you may have to adjust the patties to be slightly smaller to fit.
