Layered Taco Bowl
Kick your taco night up a notch! Whether you’re hosting a party for the big game or just want to turn up the fun during dinner, our Layered Taco Bowl is for you. Made with Belfonte Sour Cream, your family and friends will keep coming back for more!
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
4-6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 (15 oz) can pinto beans
1 (15 oz) can corn
1 large tomato, chopped
1 (4oz) can sliced black olives, drained
1 cup red onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups Belfonte Sour Cream
2 cups shredded cheese (taco or colby jack)
Hard taco shells and tortillas
Avocado and salsa (optional)
Brown ground beef, drain any fat. Add taco seasoning and water to help absorb the seasoning. Set aside to cool. In trifle or glass serving bowl, layer shredded lettuce, pinto beans, corn and olives. Add the seasoned taco meat, then layer tomatoes and red onion. Gently scoop and spread Belfonte Sour Cream on top to form a thick layer. Top with shredded cheese. Serve with sliced avocado, salsa or any of your favorite toppings. Can be eaten over rice or in hard shell or soft tortillas.
