Orange Creamsicle Cookie Sandwiches
These cookie sandwiches with frozen orange cream flavor are e a delicious, refreshing treat your whole family will love.
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
2/3 cup of sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp ground vanilla bean
2 tbsp Belfonte Milk
1 1/2 flour
1 tsp baking soda
4 cups of Belfonte Orange Sherbert
In a large bowl add your butter and sugar and mix until combined. Add your egg, milk, and vanilla and mix until light and fluffy.
Add all of your dry ingredients and mix once more. When your dough is formed, scoop it onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Allow time to cool before moving on to the next step.
In a baking dish lined with Parchment paper, scoop out your orange sherbet and flatten it so it’s smooth. Place it back into the freezer tore-harden. With a cookie-cutter about the same size as your cookies, cut out your sherbet and place in between two cookies. Freeze for a few more minutes so it hardens back up and enjoy!
