Sour Cream Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
2 cups pumpkin puree, fresh or canned
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup Belfonte Sour Cream
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp pumpkin pie seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325*. Grease and flour two loaf pans and set aside. Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth. Add eggs, pumpkin puree and sour cream and mix until well incorporated. Slowly mix in flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and spices. Pour evenly into loaf pans. Bake for 65-70 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Gently run knife around the edge to keep from sticking. Finish cooling on a cooling rack. Can be frozen after already cooled and covered in wrap.
